ObjectusVideoHome

ObjectusVideo Home is our introductory Mac video analysis package.  It's intended for the individual sports enthusiast, or parent,  trying to improve their performance using video analysis.

It has many of the features available in ObjectusVideo, but does not include the more professional level ones (voice over recording, speed and distance calculations, etc).  See the Comparison Chart for the differences between the two programs.

It provides analysis of your videos by allowing viewing in slow motion, and syncrhonizing multiple videos to analyze differences in the athletes technique. You can also use the drawing tools to mark up the video to illustrate various lines, and angles, set markers at any time in the video to jump to individual frames, and create action sequences based on those markers.

All markups and marked frames can be saved, to make it easy to compare your performance today, with older saved videos, and be able tovisually  assess the changes in the technique.

ObjectusVideo Home can be used for any number of sports or activities. While golf is probably the most highly dependent on video analysis, baseball swings and pitching motions, tennis, bowling, gymnastics, track and field etc. can also be analyzed.

And it’s not only for pros. Using ObjectusVideo Home helps you improve your sporting performance primarily because you can’t see yourself while performing the motion.  If your a golfer and take lessons, your pro will analyze your swing, and give you some advice on where you need to improve, and maybe some drills to practice.  But how do you know you are really applying that advice if you can't see it.  Well, now you can.

ObjectusVideo Home is only available on the Macintosh platform.  It's built from the ground up on Mac only technology.  Uses all the power of the Mac's GPUs, CPUs, and everything in between.  Requires Mac OS 10.5 or 10.6 and Quartz Extreme.
