Saber Fx problem
When I started using SaberFX it was awesome, I could add awesome Effects.... But, now when I put in a lightsaber over the frame and press my Right arrow key it still shows the lightsaber from the last frame, any suggestions?
Try Highlighting your video then press "Command 'I'" and,
make sure it's in QuickTime format and not Adobe or anything like that.

You said it was copying the lightsaber to every frame, right? I had that same problem too... it's when your computer has barely any GB left on it. Sooo...... when that happened to me I got a drive and put stuff on that like movies, music, and projects etc then I opened SaberFX and it stopped copying the lightsabers.

I'm having the same problem as the guy in the first post. I put an effect on the screen and it puts it on every single frame. I delete it on one and it deletes all of them. I can't figure out how to put it on just one frame. Help!
Flip Cams have been very problematic and this does happen with them.
when i put a lightsaber into the video and then play it i only see it for less than a second

hey guys when i got saber fx i was so happy becouse it is the only free lightsaber program for mac. but when i tried to open a new movie the screen where the video would show is just black but i can hear the audio. Please help!
So, in the bottom left corner there is a check-box with the label "Hide". If the box is checked, click it to un-check it. That will let you see the video you have selected.

Thanks for sending the files. I can see the problem you are having in the screen shots, but on my system, the file opened and worked fine. I added some rotoscoping to it, with no problems. The only difference I see, is in your screen shot, for frame .60/600 you have one lightsaber drawn. When I opened the file, there were 7 drawn on that frame.
I'm sending the file back, that works on my system, and has some extra frames rotoscoped. Please try and open it and see if it gets stuck also.

That's not something I've seen before.
First, check the logs by running the Console.app in Applications/Utilities/Console. Look for error messages from SaberFX and forward them to me if you find any.
Next, quit SaberFX, and restart it, and see if happens again. If it does, can you send me a screen shot using Shift-Command-4 on the keyboard.
Another thing you can try is to delete the lightsaber from the frame and redraw it. And check the list of items for the frame. I've seen it where a lightsaber gets created, but it's not visible on the frame. You can select it in the list and delete it from there.
If all that fails, and it's something you don't mind sending me, email me the video and the .SaberFX file, and I will take a look at it for you.

I know this isn't a reply to your question, but im having trouble importing into imovie... it says that the movie is incompatible. How do you import? And is it not importing because i have imovie 11'?
